Course Overview

Internationally Accredited Hybrid Training Specialist course bridges the gap between traditional strength and endurance training, empowering fitness professionals to coach athletes and clients across multiple performance domains.

 

This program introduces the hybrid training paradigm—where strength and stamina coexist—and provides a deep understanding of energy systems, program design, recovery, and nutrition.

:earners will explore the science of concurrent training, master the principles of strength and conditioning integration, and apply practical tools to design programs that minimize interference and maximize adaptation. Special emphasis is placed on real-world applications, including tactical readiness, competitive hybrid races (HYROX, Yodha Race, Hybrid Games).

By the end of the course, participants will be able to assess, design, and deliver structured hybrid programs that build resilience, athleticism, and long-term performance capacity in diverse populations.

Course Syllabus

Module 1: The Hybrid Training Paradigm

  • The rise of hybrid training

  • Why “strength vs. endurance” is outdated

  • Training order, intensity & recovery timing

Module 2: Energy Systems in Hybrid Performance Training

  • Aerobic vs. anaerobic systems

  • Zone 2, threshold, VO₂ max & alactic work

  • Conditioning design principles

Module 3: Strength Training for Hybrid Athletes

  • Movement selection: barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell, bodyweight

  • Managing volume, intensity & recovery

  • How strength influences endurance

Module 4: Conditioning & Endurance Development

  • Long Slow Distance (LSD) vs. HIIT

  • Threshold & tempo training

  • Hybrid running strategies

  • Conditioning periodization models

Module 5: Program Design & Periodization

  • Goal-based biasing (strength vs. endurance)

  • 4-week, 12-week, and yearly structures

  • Daily undulating periodization in hybrid training

  • Concurrent training template

Module 6: Case Studies

  • Case Studies & Applications in HYROX 

  • Tactical athlete program (12 weeks)

  • Competition prep: HYROX & Yodha Race and more

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

 

Design and implement structured hybrid training programs that integrate strength and endurance while minimizing the interference effect and optimizing recovery.

 

Assess and monitor athlete performance using strength, conditioning, energy system, and movement quality tests to guide programming decisions.

 

Demonstrate proficiency in prescribing strength, conditioning, and endurance protocols for athletes, tactical personnel, and lifestyle clients.

Translate theory into practice through case studies and real-world applications, preparing clients for goals such as fat loss, performance enhancement, tactical readiness, or hybrid competitions (e.g., HYROX,, Yodha Race and more).

20 hours of Live Online Practical Classroom
